Sowerby's background is as a commercial photographer. Born in England , he attended Art College there for three years studying photography. After working for four years in London he migrated to Sydney in 1970.

Sowerby has been working full-time in advertising photography since, mainly with large advertising agencies as clients. For the last 40 years he's run a very well-known and respected studio.

The scope of the work ranges from cars to people, products, lifestyle situations, room sets, electrical and computer products, architectural, corporate portraiture and event coverage plus extensive medical advertising.

With a can-do attitude that knows no bounds, Sowerby's diverse skills are instrumental in making Page 2's Artarmon based studio the venue of choice for organisations that want amazing photography with true flexibility.

 

 

Keith has considerable experience in many different kinds of photography from simple still lifes to complex photographic setups, including work that is technically very demanding.

Much of Keith’s work has been for signatureAdvertising Agencies and Design Studios and has included photography for Telstra, Vodafone, Dominos Pizza, Seiko Watches, Pulsar Watches, Langs Whiskey, Tanqueray Gin, Tamar Ridge Estates Wines, Blue Pyrenees Estates Wines, Yalumba Wines, Cinzano, Home Paints, Sun Rice, Lift, Cobram Estate Olive Oil and Alto Olive Oil.

Keith is used to working within the constraints demanded by art directors and designers, agencies and clients along with budgets, timing and all aspects of delivering a professional photographic service.

Keith works to the highest technical and creative standards. He trained in London and has a long established career as a still life photographer in Australia.

Keith is married to graphic designer Stephanie Martin and they have two children.
